The Great Resignation
Kaiser Permanente statement
“Every health care provider in the nation has been facing staffing shortages and fighting burnout. During the Great Resignation in 2021-22, more than 5 million people left their health care jobs across the country. Up to two-thirds of health care staff are saying they are burnt out and more than 1 in 5 are quitting,” the company said in a statement. Kaiser Permanente is not immune from these challenges.”
After a three day walkout in October of this year what is now the largest healthcare strike in US history, my former employer Kaiser Permanente and some 75,000 health care employees have reached a tentative deal with the support of acting Labor Secretary Julie Su…wage increases, minimum wage tiers, accelerated hiring bargained.
Senator Bernie Sanders wrote a letter to Kaiser in 2021 on our behalf when management sat on their hands over many months of weekly day long meetings of 24 souls bargaining for our 1350 plus Northern California’s Rehabilitation Professionals inaugural union. Ultimately, the Big Guns of Labor relations dispensed with our weekly bargaining and took over and moved us to ratification in a short few months in the Fall of that year.
Todays Kaiser Laborers top ask: Beef up the long years of protracted staffing woes that was gut punched during the burnout-mass exodus of this global health crisis that began in our corridors in Late Winter of 2020. Take a portion of the $6.9 Billion in Kaiser profits averaged over 2021, 2022 and 2023 and invest it into actual caregivers and support personnel responsible for safe, effective and timely health delivery. It was a very hard sell that my bargaining experience taught me with upper management in 2020-2021 because medicine-biopharma industrial complex is a lucrative business and it now runs on the monopoly of Power, Profit and Control.
Do More, Faster, with Less
Ultimately, productivity, efficiency and work effectiveness management are about numbers and ratios. In the Physical Therapy world of Rehabilitation in 2021 that ratio stood at 1.8 visits per diagnosis. When I visited the Vancouver, Washington Kaiser I spoke to the Director of Rehab there and asked her what the ratio was in the Pacific Northwest: “1.8” she remarked. When I began my leadership training in San Francisco in 1999 that ratio stood at 2.4 visits per diagnosis.
Take that in folks. That means no matter what your injury or surgery or chronic condition, on average it is 1.8 visits of rehab care in this system.
Alas, many Kaiser members sought care outside and paid out of pocket.
Local private PT clinics in Oakland and Berkeley loved us because we bankrolled a part of their cash pay business. It was the worst kept secret in our local professional circles, yet nothing was done to correct it and the Kaiser clinic doors chronically swung both ways as those left disenfranchised looking for better places for care and for work.
On Resignation
In July 9 of 2021, I became that statistic Kaiser spoke of: one in five.
I resigned on my own terms before I was to be fired from a 28 plus year career at this organization. A very successful one until the bitter end.
My last day on the job was a meeting held on a beautiful warm and sunny side street off Broadway Ave at the trunk of “Madeleine” my car, two blocks away from a building I was no longer allowed into because I chose bodily autonomy and medical freedom. In a “Berkeley Bowl” brown sac I handed my assets over to an underling, yet sympathetic Assistant Director, in Matt and was handed my last two checks.
I was officially done.
Summarily dismissed. No conversation with the Director, no fond farewells…. Just a handshake.
A DISSIDENT NOW.
In one year, healthcare providers and first responders went from Hero to Zero . It was not only the burnout from patient care and showing up in COVID harms way daily, but was also those who edge walked life for informed consent and freedom to choose bodily autonomy.
The trauma of being unseen and unheard.
It would be the Snaggle Puss’ exit stage left in droves.
The Tree Fell Hard in the Forest Silent
COVID’s mandates took their toll where I worked in Oakland, California. Employees were compelled to comply with the initial roll out of inoculations for health care providers. These Pfizer firsts were offered to us in December of 2020 a month before it was offered to the public.
The email announcements from our leaders spoke of our employee health nurses coming into the department wanting us to be role models for our member base, “Lets get 100% participation!” It was our internal Thrive campaign in injectable form.
I shared an office with our Employee Health practitioners so our department got first dibs. A small minority of us in the whole department of Employee/Occupational Health opted out. To those who did not buy the narrative began searching for alternatives because the mandates would follow.
By September of 2021 if you had not rolled up your sleeve Kaiser started the clock:
It was five days to get the first one in your arm.
If you lapsed then you were taken off work for thirty days or until compliance.
If you did not comply then you were terminated.
A Medical cabal?

It begins with the engineering of coronavirus in 1966 the first Coronavirus (CoV) model used as transatlantic biological experiment in human manipulation.
Might the conspiracy be the world of the main stream narrative?
Rule Bending to fit the Narrative
Here were once two undisputed never to be questioned exemptions that allowed for medical freedom and bodily autonomy until 2021.
To be an employee in healthcare these exemptions became another coercive angle to fatigue their minority of employees into submission to get a jab of a novel gene therapeutics into the arm.
Here is how it went at Kaiser Permanente leading up to September of 2021.
Religious Exemptions had to be re-certified every month during this time. One would have to prove every month why their Faith deemed them exempt from choice for a higher moral authority than Man. Eventually the standing of God as Creator or Other would be overruled by Man ( there must be a verse about this in the Bible where God sends a bolt of lightning down on to exterminate said Man). Employees would need to comply or leave.
Medical Exemptions were the only narrow keyhole to shimmy through, not from the medical corporate structure. One was forced to go outside to an independent medical practitioner and pay out of pocket $250.00 or more for a medical exam and receive a certificate stating the medical condition that kept you safe from this inoculation, kept you gainfully employed.
My colleagues who choose medical freedom have received exemptions. My colleague physicians and other health care practitioners signed these exemptions. Because they adhere to the Hippocratic oath they have been taken through the Medical board ringer, some suspended, some lost their license and practice, some were sent back to school on ethics and jurisprudence.
On Consensus in Science
I spent my lunches in the Science teachers offices at my high school in San Jose in the late 70’s and early 80’s. The Mr Wongs, Towles, Eddys and Hoppers shaped my curiosity in the Physical and Biological sciences. I spent my undergraduate days in an exercise physiology research lab, testing subjects and editing my mentors research methods and results.
I carried binders of my well organized papers to journal clubs. I spent hours scouring the stacks in our University’s upper campus library for the Journal of Physiology, Medicine, Sports and Science and The Exercise annals to xerox others published works at five cents a page. It was the labor expense to knowledge and I felt this certain level of importance for searching for brilliance in other folks around the world.
In Grad school my Research advisor was a crazy, high energy and fun loving Dr. Nancy Byl from UCSF. She would spin you into a 45 minute monologue on a phone call while she was crossing the Bay Bridge reading papers she needed to proof and then checking in to see if you were still there. Lost in deep thought and automatic repeating neural pathways of understanding on research basics, flawless characters in the Scientific Method and the meticulous nature of research she dispelled it in an unconscious maternal meter over the course of our time together. I never quite understood much of what she said but what I did get was there is ethics in Science and that it is not entirely consensual. “You have to fight for every data point”, she would say.
Her colleague Dr. Michael Mezenich was the first scientist to buck Scientific central dogmatic oppression on the merits of neuroplasticity. He was forced to rename his research without that word that would have destroyed the egos of the neuroscience forefathers who professed no new growth in our neuronal tree. He eventually prevailed and unleashed decades of work that had been entombed by those who ruled God’s Divine Table in Science. It was eventually found that science research in the 60’s demonstrated our bodies innate wisdom for healing in the Central Nervous System and thankfully through his rigorous practice had a large part to play in stimulating the appetites of the brain research community as we see it in present form.
From living and breathing the air of my mentors my science and lab experience never lost sight of the healthy, skeptical inquirer. I felt completely capable to understand the prevailing winds and constructs of Science that kept it far afield of luffing in the wind.

“Power Corrupts and Absolute Power Corrupts Absolutely”
Ventavia-Pfizer and a Warrior Woman Whistleblower
Consider Brooke Jackson who directed Ventavia Research group. In September of 2020 she oversaw Pfizers phase three trials in Texas. She was responsible for the safety and welfare of the volunteers and meeting the standards to get the quotas to deliver the data and the biologic injectables for Pfizer to the world.
She uncovered serious fraud and violations of safety, efficacy around this drug being produced as a “vaccine" She reported it up the chain which got no traction. She moved forward and filed a claim to the FDA. Within 24 hours of her submission of that claim she was fired. What? How? Why?
She became a whistleblower and filed a lawsuit with the court in December of 2020. On October 10, 2023, her False Claims Act was thrown out. Pfizer and Co. won.
I was on a webinar with her and listened intently to her experiences as she was gathering herself to go to her kids soccer game on this Saturday in the Summer of 2022. In her tireless warriors way she streamed from the back of a minivan and gave her story that she has spoken about many times through the independent news media outlets.
She listened and she responded to questions, some from me. Her insight into the daily operations in Ventavia clearly exposed the corruption of Biopharma and our governments need to control every aspect of this narrative that they at Warp Speed had created and left a slow drifting novel vaccine gene therapeutic fallout of unknown proportions. More on that later.
The “consensus” in science spoken by our top health official, I found to be quite perplexing. Some would say the “Cult of Scientism.” If we are to question this one soul then we are questioning science. “We” the people followed this “expert?” He, who had not touched a human being in four plus decades as the top Official and highest paid Federal worker in the Land, above POTUS. He had his hands on the golden lever of Science through NIH and NIAID. There is a tsunami of evidence building on his playing afoul during his tenure and acutely of the corruption he has had a high hand in during this pandemic.
If you have gone to lectures and debates by opposing researchers then you know how heated the arguments can be.
There is little in the way of consensus.
The battle of well founded knowledge and wit is necessary to advance Science. Debate and discourse push others beyond their own comfortable limitations to create, re-imagine and re-invent to prove their null hypothesis. Even if you have respect for Anthony Fauci these words to be spoken to the world is as much an act of deceitful arrogance as it is narcissistic-self conceit. More on this later.
If we are to believe the alternate narrative then science is all but broken. It is unfixable. What little respect it had leading up to this global health crisis in the tenures of the elder and insightful health care professionals is gone. I am part of this growing minority that is awakening to the mass corruption and tryannical forces that pushed a highly unproven and ill researched biologic to the world. As of this writing less than 3% of Americans have dropped another payload of Spike proteins into their bodies.
Western Biopharmaceutical-medical engineering that began with JD Rockefeller and D. Carnegie has failed in its attempts to bridge cures for maladies of their own making.
The Pendulum is finally Swinging Back

In October of 2021 these were the last words spoken to me on my final conversation with my Tai Ji teacher, Chungliang Huang. He and I were preparing to meet to begin working on putting his life’s work into book form. At 82 he had neither the time nor inclination to pour over this monumental feat. In between our tai ji dance practice he would give talks on Tao and would comment on the deep soulful relationships with Alan Watts and Laura Huxley. He would refrain as a last sentence “I ask for 10 more years because I am not done.”
He wanted to continue teaching to the end and had no want to put forth any energy to write his memoir. He was quite excited to have found a Chinese relation in running up to the weekend that we were going to spend together. He had found in me a disciple to scribe his legacy.
However, out of respect and self disclosure I mentioned that I did not take the inoculation. His admin assistant mentioned to me that we need to keep him safe and that it was too risky to be around me. So the day before I was to leave to make a 6 hour drive up the coast and he a flight from Illinois to Gold Beach Oregon it would be all undone in a heartbeat.
I suddenly felt like a leper and so our relationship ended there. I followed up on emails to no avail. I understood what had taken hold. I struggled with rejection that has been a common theme in my life. It had come back once again.
It was a hard one to swallow and let go of.
It wouldn’t be the last time though.
On The Great Barrington Declaration’s Correctness
The beginning of my search to understand the plight of the world in early 2020 came through Dr. Jay Bhattacharya, Dr. Sunetra Gupta and Dr. Martin Kulldorff. I felt this was a great launching pad of understanding and dissolving any notions of Scientism and find a level headed, expert and gentle path forward from a global calamity.
These three top experts from Oxford, Harvard and Stanford spoke of protecting our elderly and frail first and not shutter the world. To obtain herd immunity let the young and healthy go about their daily lives.
They were scorned, shunned, obfuscated and shadow banned in social media for their levels of expertise in Epidemiology, Virology and Public Health. You may have heard of the “Disinformation Dozen.” That was coined in early 2021. It did not wear well-long as every “conspiratorial untruth” the legacy media and fact checkers would have you to believe in has now been proven to be correct from the get go.
It is a tragic psychopathology in my mind.
It is a product of our Consensus Ideology where one can play the victim by reminding the world how much we are hurt by others words and ways. On the other hand shouting down voices believed to be contemptuous and obtuse to our beliefs we thereby become the victor to save from being caught in our own neglect of thinking inwardly, reflectively more vulnerably.
I also have found in my own experiences that some may bind to the notion of willful blindness for the social contract of inclusion and the mainstream narrative. A safe space of inclusion away from isolation and the fear of being outright rejected in a harmful world. It is one that hoodwinks the world into dependence monetarily cobbled together on covert, coercive, corporate capitalistic malfeasance.
Through these past four years I left my ledge of disillusionment to better understand more greatly today how rules are made and then bent crooked for the crooked in this medical corporate industry.
In the world of absolute power that controls the masses (us) extends into every aspect of our way of life including this global health crisis I had come to find. More on that too, later.

On Ideological Cleansing
The world I knew was sped through a conflagration of lies and mis-interpretation without a want to accommodate conversation. It was America’s fledglings attempt at Authoritarian rule. Communistic ethics wrapped in Fascist fanaticism.
Through the wounds of being othered, obfuscated and shunned during this time at Kaiser, Love and forgiveness found a seam in me. From the loss of a whole community of colleagues, friends, teachers and mentors what emerged was a healing community in the East Bay Hills of Berkeley, Oakland, El Cerrito who have been edge walking their entire lives.
A bastion of temperance, faith, compassion and honesty came in a community that was largely unknown to me until this time.
I was re-birthed after a long nine months struggle to come out of a hole so small and incomprehensibly compressive it nearly proved fatal. It has taken me nearly two years to find my physical and mental well being once again. It came through my herbs, teas, and movement practices and more so my changed personhood. I am more tolerant, boundaried and deeply loving in the ways our fore-sages would espouse to the world. For, I am an avid listener and life decoder of Jiddu Krishnamurti . A Man who would posit that by ‘choiceless awareness’ can we free the tyranny of our mind state and by the meditation of listening becomes the portal through which we may find “Total Freedom.”
“be a light unto yourself”
In frank and subtle ways I have been liberated from the inside out. The boundaries of deep compassion for myself and others has taken a deep root. The journey today has been extraordinary.
I am meeting folks on my journeys through America and Europe during this time and I have pulled my way over the wall that held me back from a greater understanding of another. Being othered during this time was my antidote. I found a deep well of empathy for other brothers and sisters who intend life to be grounded, measured, resilient, peaceful and wrapped in the light of a spiritual belief that holds Love front and center in their daily existence in a world turning itself in circles without resolution, without the eyes and ears to discern deeply the root of our travails today. I am grateful for they have a certain unalienable faith in living in loving presence.
This is the true conspiracy I hold to today without ideology: To lead with Love as a mission in life to further the meditative art of genuinely understanding another.
There is no other pathway for peace today.
There is no greater freedom than this.
